Zusammenfassung:The aim of this study was to identify reasons associated with violent behaviors against the couple in the marital relationship of demobilized Colombian armed conflict. We evaluated 224 men residing in a distension military zone and psycho-social readjustment in the Colombian Caribbean Coast through a correlational design, using two questionnaires to detect violent behavior and the reasons relating thereto. The data were analyzed using Chi Square (x2) and stepwise linear regression modelling. The average domestic violence was 82.1% protruding verbal aggression, abandonment or neglect, threats and coercion.
