Zusammenfassung:Majority of the radiation exposure during a diagnostic or interventional coronary or peripheral procedure is a result of cineangiographic acquisitions, as opposed to fluoroscopy loops. Because of multiple factors, including anatomical obstacles and inexperience with upper body vascular anatomy as well as differences in catheter behavior in the ascending aorta, fluoroscopy time is expected to be higher when a TF operator adopts TRA Increase in fluoroscopy time with right radial compared with left radial procedures has been reported especially with less trained operators, with resolution of the difference in fluoroscopy time noted with further training.
