Zusammenfassung: | The database Material Evidence in Incunabula (MEI) was created two years ago to integrate the cataloguing and searching of the material evidence (or copy specific, post-production evidence, provenance information) of 15th-century printed books. The note offers an update on the development of the database, main features, and contributing libraries; in particular, the collaboration with Regione Lombardia and CRELEB to survey and describe the rich collection of incunabula (some 12,000 items) still surviving in the many libraries of the area. |
