Zusammenfassung: | The problem on oxidation purification of water in a reversible flow reactor with the use of a catalyst has been studied by numerical methods. We have made comparative studies of the concentration limits of mixture combustion attained in inert and catalytic porous media reactors at varied values of the liquid flow rate, the reactor length, the heat loss coefficient, and the size of the packed bed. It has been established that the use of a catalyst leads to an insignificant decrease in the concentration limit: 11.6% against 13.4% (adiabatic case) and 12.5% against 13.9% (standard insulation). |
