Zusammenfassung: | Experimental studies conducted on a set of 1 X I rib knitted cotton fabrics using an artificial finger friction sledge are reported in this paper. In order to better simulate the actual to-and-fro reciprocating action of a human finger on a fabric, a reciprocating sliding friction apparatus is used. The reciprocating motion is incorporated into the artificial finger sledge by a reciprocating sliding friction apparatus. Frictional characteristics of knitted fabrics are characterized by the friction parameter C. Both the loop length and yarn linear density have a direct influence on the frictional properties measured by the polymeric finger sledge. |
