Zusammenfassung:Two heterometallic thiacalix[4]arene-supported complexes possess a trinary-cubane core composed of one [Ni sub(2)Ln sub(2)] cubane unit and two [NaNi sub(2)Ln] cubane units sharing one Ln super(III) ion (Ln = Dy and Tb). Only the Dy super(III) complex exhibits slow magnetic relaxation behaviour of single molecule magnet nature.
