Zusammenfassung:The aim of the project is to study the bending fatigue properties of one kind of webbing under multiaxial dynamic loading in order to determine its maximum dura bility and longest useful lifetime. The study uses a dynamic fatiguing test machine, and the varying test parameters are camber radius and pulley diameter, the safety factor of the webbing, and bending frequency. The influence of the different test parameters on the final temperature of the webbing is also considered. In addition to the bending fatigue properties, another object of the study is to determine the residual strength of the webbing after increased bendings and for different safety factors. Pulley diameter and safety factors have the most important influence on the long-term reliability of webbing. By using big pulleys and high safety factors, the final temperature of the webbing is held at a low level due to insignificant movement of the fibers and yams in the webbing (low friction).
