Zusammenfassung: | This work is concerned with an anti-plane inverse problem about identification of a buried void in an elastic layer of constant thickness. It is assumed that a certain load is applied to the upper boundary surface, to generate wave fields inside the layer. Then, a numerical algorithm is proposed to restore the position and size of the buried void. The input data is given by the amplitude of oscillations known over a certain finite-length interval on the upper face of the layer. Some numerical examples demonstrate the stability of the proposed algorithm. |
