Zusammenfassung: | Reading habits among third grade and second grade students in Ouagadougou strongly correlates with the availability of a library in their schools or in the near surroundings of their homes. First grade students read more than those of third grade. Girls read more than the boys. Students living in cities read as much as those living in provinces. It appears that reading has a positive impact on the results of the students with reading habits. Reading habit is stronger among the girls rather than among the boys.
