Zusammenfassung: | This article examines the future funding of aged care in the context of the Intergenerational Report. Noting the predicted substantial increases in aged‐care costs, it argues that the current funding of aged care, which imposes high and likely rising co‐contributions on care recipients, should be replaced with comprehensive aged‐care insurance. It also recommends improving the transparency of the Intergenerational Report and the sophistication of its sensitivity testing. |
