Extension of Patents--Important to the Inventors of 1845

It is always a matter of more or less difficulty to introduce a new thing, and bring it into the notice and favor of the public. Hence it is that some inventors spend the best portion of their lives in endcavoring to find people who will adopt and employ their inventions. When the summit of this mountain of difficulty is reached, it is down-hill traveling thereafter.
