Zusammenfassung:The purpose of this study is to investigate the regulation of myostatin which is a negative regulator of muscle mass on skeletal muscle mass during hypoxia and exercise. Methods:SD rats were divided into six groups: normoxia control group, normoxia exercise group, right after hypoxic exposure group, right after HiLo (living high training low) group, 1-week re-oxygen after hypoxic exposure group, 1-week re-oxygen after HiLo group. After gastrocnemius weighing, myostatin mRNA of skeletal muscle were measured using RT-PCR following 1-hour treadmill exercise daily and (or) 12-hour hypoxic exposure at 13. 6% 02 daily for 4 weeks,and (or) re-oxygen for 1 week.
