Zusammenfassung: | Berkers investigates the connections between punk rock and feminism as seen in female Dutch punk and New Wave performers of the 1970's and 1980's. Drawing from reports by female punk rockers of that era, Berkers shows that conflicts between second-generation radical feminist separatists and their younger punk rock colleagues, over genres, appearance, and the inclusion/exclusion of men, kept feminist punk from flourishing. |
