Zusammenfassung: | In our previous paper1) we have shown that the amount of CO2 produced by combustion of polyethylene (PE) is able to be reduced by the addition of a nucleus material such as sodium aluminosilicate. In the present study the effect of addition of zinc oxide and starch on the properties of the PE film was studied. When liposomes containing zinc oxide nanoparticles as a nucleus substance were kneaded and mixed, a transparent PE film which can absorb UV light of wavelength below 400 nm and with high mechanical strength was successfully obtained. The mechanical strength could be maintained even when liposomes encapsulating starch and magnesium 12-hydroxystearate (compatibilizer of PE) as nucleus materials were used. By combining the results obtained in the present and previous works, it is shown to be important that the nucleus materials encapsulated in the liposomes are in a kneaded state in order to obtain high quality PE films. |
