Zusammenfassung:The Internet has changed the way most physicians and medical students access new information. Internal medicine residents are spending less time reading traditional textbooks and more time utilizing online resources such as UpToDate. However, it is less clear how Web-based instruction has impacted the education of medical students and residents. Besides its obvious allure to a technologically focused generation of young physicians, Web-based learning has a number of other potential advantages. Here, Mayers et al examine if Web-based education has a potential value.
