Internal medicine residents are spending less time reading traditional textbooks and more time utilizing online resources such as UpToDate. However, it is less clear how Web-based instruction has impacted the education of medical students and residents. Besides its obvious allure to a technologically focused generation of young physicians, Web-based learning has a number of other potential advantages. Here, Mayers et al examine if Web-based education has a potential value. |
