Zusammenfassung:	Peptide transport: We describe a generally applicable NMR‐based assay that can detect transport processes across the plasma membrane on a single‐cell level. Single‐cell 1D 1H NMR spectroscopy clearly demonstrated the presence of transported substrates inside the cells. NMR‐based measurements involving single cRNA‐injected oocytes might provide an ab initio method for searching for transported substrates.
