Zusammenfassung: | My intent in this Article is to comment and respond to the paper presented by Dr. Wanjiru Njoya. Dr. Njoya's thesis might be summarized as follows: in the context of flexicurity and economic downturn employment protection laws are important but they have the potential to be counterproductive. Employee participation has the capacity to accommodate more effectively both sides of the flexicurity balance of job security and efficiency and competitiveness. The property and liberty and freedom elements can be met with employee participation which can enable the actors to work with their particular conditions. A reflexive legal framework can offer the right legal environment. Adapted from the source document. |
