DEVELOPMENT OF THE BLOW PROCESS WITH TREE HOLE LANCE ON THE AOD CONVERTER OF ARCELORMITTAL INOX BRASIL

Insert in one competitive market the siderurgical companies are developing theirs process in other to reduce costs and increase the productivity. This work was based in one biography research to define the new geometry of the 3 hole lance that was substitute the 4 hole lance on the AOD process. The 3 hole lance had their inclination angle and the noses diameter changes to be used on the experiments on the EAF-EAF and EAF-HOT METAL rotes. Using 3 hole lance on the AOD process was possible reduce the chromium oxidation, reduce CTT (Charge to Tap), increase desulfurization efficiency with better qualities results on the steel 304A.
