Zusammenfassung:This paper will present, briefly, the flow chart of a coke oven gas treatment plant, which in November 2010 received a new operating unit called Claus System, responsible for the ammonia vapors desulfurization from the ammonia distillation. The aim of this paper is to show the reduction of SO(2) emissions in the ArcelorMittal Tubarao coke plant stack 1 after start-up of the system by comparing the results obtained in 2010 and first quarter of 2011.
