The effect of the magnetic induction upon the dependence equation between hysteresis loss and grain size

Zusammenfassung:This paper discusses the effect of maximum induction upon the relation between grain size and hysteresis losses in electrical steels. Starting from a 0,7%Si electrical steel sheet, sets of samples with different grain sizes in the range between 10 to 150 m were obtained. Grain sizes were measured by the method of intercept. Magnetic characterization was performed under quasi-static regime at 5mHz for various values of maximum induction. The results show that the maximal induction affects both the linear coefficient and the slope defined by the graph of energy dissipated by hysteresis as a function of inverse grain size.
