Zusammenfassung:The process of flotation plants Fabrica Nova (FN) and Timbopeba (TO) are intended to concentrate the natural fine fraction (< 0.15 mm). This fraction is concentrated in mechanical cells or columns in four stages of flotation, rougher, cleaner, and scavenger recleaner. The final concentrate is produced by cleaner in Fabrica Nova and recleaner step in Timbopeba. The residuals of the final stage in both flotations scavenger. The implementation of the Flotation Expert System is an example of insertion of new models of management in the process of flotation unit, which consists of new technologies in the layer of Automation and Process Control.
