Aneurysm of pulmonary artery

Pulmonary artery aneurysms are rare and their incidence is not known, however, true aneurysms have been reported anecdotally. 1 2 They can be either idiopathic or caused by infection, trauma, systemic vasculitis, collagen vascular and connective tissue disorders. 1 Although post-stenotic dilatation is not an uncommon feature of PS, it rarely reaches aneurysmal proportions as seen in this case, that too involving both the branches.
