Zusammenfassung: | Liquid sloshing of oil storage tanks caused by Tokachi-Oki earthquake in 2003 gave severe damage to oil tanks in Tomakomai area. Up to now, we have verified the effect of sloshing damping device by conducting a shaking experiment of a real scale tank. However, the method of setting up this device and the verification of the influence on the floating roof that this device brings remain as a problem. In order to verify the setting method of sloshing damping device, we conducted a experiment of loading to sloshing damping device in static and dynamic condition and verified the influence that the rigidity of this device gave to a floating roof. Moreover, we proved this device to be an explosion-proof specification by confirming that the use of this device did not generate an excessive temperature rise. |
