Zusammenfassung:In this study, a simple method for estimating the earthquake motion on engineering bedrock is proposed using the given motion on the ground surface by means of the attenuation relation. The regression expression for converting the PGA or PGV into PBA or PBV was proposed through series of nonlinear dynamic analysis, taking into account the configuration of soil deposit and amplitude of earthquake motion. It is confirmed that the proposed method is advantageous over traditional estimation in reproducing the observed records.
