Zusammenfassung:This paper discusses about a simple Humanoid platform EkInBot, specifically designed for Human Robot Interaction Using Dynamic Finger gestures. EkInBot stands for Electronically Interactive Robot and has 8 Degrees of Freedom. The paper emphasis on design and realization of a simplified humanoid robot and implementing finger gesture identification using a system analogous to 'Data Glove'. The proposed gesture recognition mechanism has accelerometer sensors, that tracks finger movements and moves the robot with respect to it.
