Zusammenfassung: | Discusses the challenges involved in curating African and African diaspora cinema, suggesting that programming African cinema requires an unearthing of the lineage of each film lineages of culture, history, cinematic endeavour, and aesthetic language - which are elements that help an audience to situate the film.
