Wakelin discusses the authorship of Knyghthode and Batailie. Knyghthode and Batailie achieves iambic pentameter less skillfully, usually without employing the now long defunct final -e; however, where a more natural pronunciation would leave the line wanting, it employs the inflexional ending.
