Aragon's "Le Crime Contre L'Espirit": A resistance text of communist origin used by De Gaulle and La France Combattante in Algiers, 1943-1944

The use of Louis Aragon's French resistance text "Le Crime Contre L'Espirit" by the right wing government of General DeGaulle is examined. The text was widely known to be Communist in origin and was actually commissioned by the French Communist Party.
