Zusammenfassung:Cavernous sinus thrombosis represents a rare but devastating disease process that may be associated with significant long-term patient morbidity or mortality. The prompt recognition and management of this problem is critical. However, most of the literature involves case-specific discussions. The purpose of this article was to review the literature and present current recommendations for the treatment of cavernous sinus thrombosis.
