CONFUCIANISM AND UBUNTU: REFLECTIONS ON A DIALOGUE BETWEEN CHINESE AND AFRICAN TRADITIONS

This article compares two major strands of moral-philosophical thought in Chinese and African traditions, namely--Confucianism and what is known as Ubuntu--the term for humanness that Zulu and Xhosa speakers in South Africa use to capture morality as a whole.
