Zusammenfassung: | NOWADAYS, with the engineering structure being more and more large-scale and complicated, it is necessary to pay more and more attention to the safety of the structureyhs. To evaluate the reliability of the large-scale structural system, a lot of methods have been developed [1-5]. The most popular one is the second-order bound method developed by Ditlevsen [1]. For a series structural system with n failure modes, this method gives a narrow bound containing the true value of the failure probability of the system as follows. |
