This article discusses sexual exploitation, sex trafficking and sexual abuse in United Nations peacekeeping operations. By considering the recent history of peacekeeping scandals, American experience with sexual harassment issues, and theories of organizational culture, the path to policy crisis regarding coercive sexual relations at missions will be examined.
