Beauty-industry entrepreneurs Reema Khan and Curprice Luckert faced legal problems when they tried to expand into new states. Khan, founder of s.h.a.p.e.s. Brow Bar, experienced some problems because employees were not licensed cosmetologists. Luckert's expansion plan also faced a similar hurdle because the licensing requirements for braiders in California were different from regulations in Nevada. The need for entrepreneurs to consult legal experts is also discussed.
