BEST.TEAM.EVER.(Abraham Lincoln High School's boys' golf team)

The boys' golf team of the Abraham Lincoln High School in San Francisco, California in the early 1960s is considered to be one of the best team ever. The team included coach Will Ryan, Tom O'Kane, Doug Nelson, Bob Lunn, Johnny Miller and Ron O'Connor. They did not suffer a loss in a four-year period. They mainly attributed their success to their caddying experience and their putting ability. Lunn, the team leader, won six times on Tour before a wrist injury derailed his professional golfing career at age 27. Miller went on to become a U.S. Open champion and a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
