Parasites of Cryptophlebia ombrodelta (Lower) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) in southeast Queensland [pest of macadamia]

During a life‐system study of Cryptophlebia ombrodelta (Lower) in southeast Queensland five hymen‐opterous, and one dipterous, parasites were recorded. In decreasing order of occurrence they were, Apan‐teles briareus Nixon, Bracon sp. (Braconidae), Gotra bimaculata Cheesman (Ichneumonidae), Brachy‐meriapomonae (Cameron) (Chalcididae), ?Thelariosoma sp. (Tachinidae), and Euderus sp. (Eulophidae). All attacked larval or pupal stages. No egg parasite was detected. One hymenopterous hyperparasite (Encyrtidae) Eupelmus sp. emerged from A. briareus.
