Zusammenfassung:The classic theory of crystal growth including concepts of thermodynamics of the process, layered and normal growth, as well as the formation of local and zoned sectorial defects, was worked out for crystals of fixed composition. Isomorphic miscibility is considered as a result of statistical capture of individual isomorphic particles or as a function of thermodynamic properties of components. However, such points of view cannot characterize the formation of a mixed crystal completely, which is most clearly demonstrated by synchronization of growth and dissolution in a macroscopically homogeneous solution.
