Zusammenfassung:Owing to the relative ease of ring-opening under a variety of conditions, donor–acceptor cyclopropanes serve as synthetic building blocks for construction of highly functionalized carbo- and heterocyclic compounds. Recent examples of the ring-forming reactions employing donor–acceptor cyclopropanes are discussed in the present focus article.
