Zusammenfassung:This paper mainly aims at determining the effectiveness of CLT (Communicative Language Teaching) used in College English classes. The study utilized the descriptive research method and was conducted in Medical University for Nationalities that offers College English classes to non-English majors strategies Youjiang . Survey questionnaire was used to assess the CLT strategies. The experimental data shows that CLT strategies are very effective in improving the students' language proficiency. Therefore, it is recommended that CLT approach should be used intensively and extensively in the teaching of College English in China.
