Recently, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) has included glycated hemoglobin A1c (A1C) level as a component of diagnostic criteria of ‘diabetes’ or ‘increased risk for diabetes’. This study was conducted to examine the prevalence of and risk factors for ‘elevated A1C’ (≥5.7%) in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
METHODS
