SOURCES OF FINANCING SMALL ENTERPRISES: A CASE OF FEDERATION OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

In this work the research encompasses small enterprises (micro and small subjects of small economy). The research, considering area of coverage, has been carried out in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and in terms of time in the second half of 2006. For implementation of the research, a questionnaire has been prepared consisting of two parts. The first part of questionnaire contains general questions about an enterprise, in the second questions about sources of financing of small enterprises. The research results have revealed that small enterprises in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton during their founding have used private capital to the largest extent and so 64% of enterprises used 100% of private capital and 23% of them used predominantly the private capital. The research has also revealed that private or predominantly private capital is represented in 68% of enterprises in the structure of capital used for current operations and new investments in small enterprises in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
