Zusammenfassung:Because there is much overlap in research areas associated with minerals and mine drainage, many papers presented in this review can be classified into more than one category, and the six sections should not be regarded as being mutually-exclusive, nor should they be thought of as being all-inclusive. (2007) used statistical methods to examine different methods for quantifying sulfate concentrations to determine the impacts of acid mine drainage and found that ion chromatography and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) provided excellent recoveries of both control and actual field samples and low relative standard deviations.
