Zusammenfassung:A uniform approximation of a linear hyperbolic-hyperbolic singular perturbation problem for a large timescale under a "timelike" hypothesis is constructed. It is shown that the effect of a hyperbolic perturbation is qualitatively the same as the effect of a viscous perturbation for a large timescale. The validity is proved by the use of the energy method.
