Zusammenfassung:The aim of this study was to determine the effects of Cloprostenol (PGF2α analogue) on semen quality, libido and serum testosterone concentrations in Holstein Friesian bulls kept in an open housing system under tropical climates. A recent study in boar has found that PGF2α treatment does not change serum concentrations of testosterone, estrogen, LH and cortisol, but can restore sexual behavior in the castrated boar (8).
