Zusammenfassung: | A simple expression for calculating the magnetic field at the edge of a two dimensional, perfectly electrically conducting curved face wedge is described for the case of illumination by either TE-polarized plane or surface creeping waves. This expression is developed heuristically by manipulation of the known asymptotic fields on the plane face wedge and the circular cylinder. Numerical results are presented to demonstrate the accuracy and limitations of this new expression. |
