Zusammenfassung:In this paper a general formulation is given for the synthesis of random fields in which groundwater flows. Both homogeneous and inhomogeneous random fields are considered, and an algorithm is devised to effectively capture any specified spatial correlation structure. Monte Carlo simulations of the flow systems are employed to explore the effect of input uncertainty on output variability.
