Development of Thin Microwires With Enhanced Magnetic Softness and GMI
In this paper, we report on tailoring of thin glass-coated microwires with enhanced magnetic softness. We systematically studied the GMI effect (GMI ratio, DeltaZ/Z, and the off-diagonal impedance tensor zeta phiz (H ex )) and hysteretic magnetic properties in ultra-thin amorphous glass-coated micro...

Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, we report on tailoring of thin glass-coated microwires with enhanced magnetic softness. We systematically studied the GMI effect (GMI ratio, DeltaZ/Z, and the off-diagonal impedance tensor zeta phiz (H ex )) and hysteretic magnetic properties in ultra-thin amorphous glass-coated microwires with nearly-zero and negative magnetostriction constant and metallic nucleus diameter ranging within 6 and 16 mum . |
