Zusammenfassung: | The igneous rocks of Sakhalin are believed to have been formed in different magma generating structures of the oceanic, oceanicmarine, island arc, and con tinental rift settings [1]. It appears that the factor dia gram [2] used for their differentiation bears a signifi cant empirical error (approximately 30%) in recogniz ing of the tectonic position of basalts. Moreover, over 70% of data points for such intraplate basalts and approximately 22% of them characterizing basalts from continental rifts appear to correspond to the island arc field. |
