Geochemical peculiarities of ore-forming fluids and conditions of formation of gold mineralization of the Butarnoe deposit (Northeast of Russia)

Some 15 years ago (1997), a new globally important type of intrusion related gold deposits with gold as the main commercial component was established in sev eral works. Since that time interest in these deposits has increased in connection with the success ful exploration of gold deposits in Alaska and Australia (Pogo, 150 tons; Fort Knox, more 200 tons; Tefler, more 500 tons). During the last 20 years in the Magadan region alone (northeast of Russia), more than 20 gold deposits of this type were discovered.
