Hydrochemical studies in the central and southern Caspian Sea aboard the R/V Issledovatel’ Kaspiya (June 12–26, 2010)

In June 2010, hydrochemical surveys were per formed in the central and southern areas of the Cas pian Sea from aboard the R/V Issledovatel Kaspiya in the course of the monitoring in cooperation with the Caspian Research Institute for Fisheries and Oceanography. The studies were aimed to reveal the changes in the vertical structure of the waters and, especially, the hypoxia increase in the deep water depressions.
